Free "Mistake Rib" pattern now available at the Purl District!

OK so Selina bleached her hair and now looks like a totally different girl. So she will have to put another updated pic  on the blog. I'm working on a mistake rib scarf with 2 yarns held as one. They are very yummy from Newton yarns,some metalic,peach and beigey fuzzy kinda,wool,rayon,nylon,mohair. I'll take a pic when it's done. Yes, smarty pants, out there I do too knit! Ha ha ha

Nicole McLoughlin displays the blanket she has crocheted for soon to be born daughter, Roslyn Nicole.  For her original design she used Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande yarn with Mango Moon Nirvana Handspun yarn every 10th row.  

This sample triangle shawl was made by, the Millstream Guild Member, Carol Richmond.  This particular piece is made with Koigu Premium Merino yarn, but can be replaced with any hand-dyed, sock weight yarn.  Multicolor skeins create beautiful and varied color patterns.  

This is one of our newest patterns offered.  It's meant for the beginning knitter, but creates professional results with use of the lace knit.  Subtle effects make this shawl easy to make and easy to wear on a cool day.
